A plastic shredder primarily shreds plastic through the shearing and tearing action between rotating and fixed blades. A motor drives the main shaft, and the rotating blades mounted on the shaft rotate at high speed with it. They work in conjunction with fixed blades fixed to the main body to cut and shred the plastic material entering the shredding chamber. The material is gradually broken into smaller pieces by the blades before being discharged through the outlet.
