The prevailing design utilizes a low-speed, high-torque dual-shaft shearing mechanism: a motor and gearbox drive two cutter shafts to rotate in opposite directions at different speeds. Alloy cutter discs mounted on the shafts grab and grip the material, shredding it through a combination of **shearing, tearing, and crushing** actions. The system features an automatic reverse function to protect the motor when encountering hard, difficult-to-shred objects. After coarse shredding, the material can be fed into fine-shredding equipment to further liberate metals from resinous materials. Low-speed operation results in minimal impact and dust generation, making it ideal for processing mixed-material electronic waste.
