Xrido Group's Waste Textile RDF Production Line

Jan 06, 2026

Tens of millions of tons of waste textiles face landfill challenges annually, but Xrido Group, focusing on "technology, environment, and resources," is addressing this problem with its waste textile RDF production line. As a national high-tech enterprise with 20 years of experience in solid waste treatment, its customized equipment system efficiently transforms old clothing and textile scraps into standardized fuel, injecting new momentum into the circular economy.

Xrido's RDF production line restructures the textile resource recovery path with end-to-end adaptability. Addressing the characteristics of raw materials containing blended fibers and metal parts, the production line adopts a modular design of "pre-treatment - crushing - sorting - molding." In the pre-treatment stage, magnetic separators and manual sorting stations work together to precisely remove impurities such as zippers and buttons, avoiding equipment wear and tear. The core dual-shaft shear crusher uses low-speed, high-torque technology to overcome fiber entanglement, crushing materials into uniform fragments of 5-20mm, suitable for cotton, polyester, and other fibers.

Intelligent sorting and efficient molding technologies highlight its core competitiveness. The production line is equipped with an AI optical sorter and an electrostatic separator, separating synthetic fibers from natural fibers based on differences in material charge. Combined with an air-separation system to remove plastic impurities, fuel purity is increased to over 95%. The terminal ring die pellet mill can be customized to produce 6-12mm RDF pellets with a density of 1.2t/m³ and a maximum calorific value of 22MJ/kg, approaching the standard of high-quality bituminous coal. This system has achieved multiple capacity configurations from 1-120t/d, adapting to diverse needs from rural disposal sites to large industrial parks.

Global case studies demonstrate the effectiveness of the technology. After adopting the Xrido production line, a textile factory in Vietnam processes 20 tons of RDF converted from scrap materials daily, replacing 30% of its coal for heating in the dyeing and printing industry. In a project in Mexico, the equipment supplies fuel blocks made from old clothing to a cement plant, achieving a solid waste reduction rate of over 90%. These applications demonstrate the environmental value of the production line—each medium-sized production line can reduce carbon emissions by up to 2000 tons annually, with dust emissions strictly complying with international standards.

From equipment manufacturing to overall solution delivery, Xrido, with over 40 technology patents and a service network covering more than 100 countries, is redefining the energy transformation path of textiles. Under the "dual carbon" goal, its RDF production line not only resolves solid waste pollution but also builds a circular bridge between "waste and energy," providing an equipment model for the green transformation of the global textile industry.
