RDF briquetting machine shipped to Vietnam

RDF briquetting machine shipped to Vietnam, boosting waste-to-energy utilization in Southeast Asia.

Recently, a high-performance RDF briquetting machine completed factory commissioning and was shipped to Vietnam, marking a new breakthrough for Chinese refuse-derived fuel (RDF) processing equipment in the Southeast Asian market. This equipment is designed to separate non-combustible materials from domestic and industrial solid waste and compress combustible waste (such as plastics, paper, and textiles) into high-density fuel briquettes, helping Vietnam improve its low-value solid waste energy utilization.

Outstanding core functions, adapted to environmental needs.
The exported RDF briquetting machine utilizes a four-column hydraulic drive and intelligent temperature control system. Its multi-stage pressurization structure compresses loose combustible waste (such as shredded mixed waste) to 1/5 to 1/3 of its original volume, achieving a compact density of 0.8 to 1.2 tons/m³, significantly reducing transportation and storage costs. The equipment is compatible with a variety of raw materials (such as PP plastic, cardboard, and biomass fiber), producing briquettes with a stable calorific value of 12-18 MJ/kg. It can directly replace coal in industrial applications such as cement kilns and thermal power plants, helping Vietnam reduce its reliance on fossil fuels. Furthermore, its wear-resistant alloy molds and automatic lubrication system ensure 24-hour stable operation with a maintenance interval of over 800 hours.

Meeting Vietnam's Needs and Serving the Circular Economy
Vietnam is undergoing a period of accelerated industrialization. Annual municipal solid waste production exceeds 20 million tons, but incineration accounts for less than 30%, leaving a large amount of low-value combustible solid waste in urgent need of resource utilization. The RDF briquetting machine exported this time features optimized pretreatment parameters tailored to the characteristics of local mixed waste (such as high moisture content and low calorific value), and is equipped with a material-blocking conveying device to ensure stable operation in high-temperature and high-humidity environments.

Chinese RDF processing equipment is rapidly entering the Southeast Asian market thanks to its mature technology, low energy consumption, and customized services. This collaboration not only provides Vietnam with a "Chinese solution" for solid waste-to-energy conversion but also injects new momentum into China-Vietnam green technology cooperation.
