PVC Plastic Shredder: High-Efficiency Equipment for PVC Waste Recycling

In the field of PVC (polyvinyl chloride) product recycling, the PVC plastic shredder is a core piece of equipment for reducing waste volume and reusing it. It can pre-treat various PVC wastes, such as PVC pipes, profiles, films, waste door and window frames, and cable sheaths, shredding them into uniform blocks of 20-80mm. This lays the foundation for subsequent deep processing stages such as crushing and granulation, significantly improving the efficiency of PVC waste recycling.

The core structure of the equipment includes a feeding device, a shredding system, a drive system, and a discharge device. The feeding device uses an inclined hopper, coupled with a pusher to automatically push materials, avoiding the safety risks of manual feeding. The core of the shredding system is a dual-shaft cutter roller, with special alloy blades mounted on the roller surface. The blades undergo special sharpening treatment to effectively handle the toughness and wear resistance of PVC material, preventing material from entanglement on the cutter shaft. The drive system uses a dual-motor linkage design, coupled with a reduction gearbox to regulate the speed, ensuring stable torque of the cutter roller and easily shredding PVC profiles up to 50mm thick. During operation, PVC waste enters the shredding chamber through the feeding hopper. The dual-shaft cutter roller rotates in opposite directions, shredding the material through shearing and extrusion. The shredded material falls into the conveying equipment through the discharge port, completing the pre-treatment process.

Compared to ordinary shredding equipment, PVC plastic shredders have three major advantages: First, they are highly targeted, with blade angles and speeds matched to the characteristics of PVC material, avoiding problems such as incomplete shredding and material jamming, increasing shredding efficiency by 25% compared to general shredders; second, they feature an anti-corrosion design, with the inner wall of the shredding chamber and the surface of the cutter shaft treated with an anti-corrosion coating, resisting corrosive substances that may be generated during PVC processing, extending the equipment's service life to 5-8 years; third, they are safe and reliable, equipped with overload protection and emergency stop devices, automatically stopping the equipment when metallic impurities are mixed in with the material to prevent blade damage.

Operation and maintenance precautions: Before starting the machine, check the blade wear; replace blades when wear exceeds 3mm; when processing PVC film waste, control the feeding speed to prevent film adhesion; clean the drive system of oil stains monthly, and check the blade fastening bolts quarterly to ensure stable operation. Currently, this equipment is widely used in PVC pipe factories and waste building material recycling companies, providing key technical support for the PVC circular economy.
