Xrido MSTD320 Tracked Mobile Shredder Successfully Completes Trial Run! Tests Show It Meets Standards for Crushing Large Waste and Scrap Metal.

With the continued implementation of policies promoting solid waste resource utilization, the urban large waste collection and scrap metal recycling industries are experiencing large-scale development demands. Traditional fixed shredding equipment is severely constrained by site limitations, resulting in high costs for transporting large items such as sofas, mattresses, scrap iron sheets, and metal pipes. Equipment relocation and infrastructure installation also consume significant manpower and financial resources. Recently, our factory's brand-new MSTD320 tracked mobile solid waste shredder completed a full-condition load test, focusing on continuous crushing tests of large waste and various types of scrap metal. This trial run strictly adhered to the factory testing standards for industrial solid waste equipment, consisting of four main stages: no-load commissioning, large waste load crushing, scrap metal wear resistance testing, and intelligent protection verification. It fully replicated real-world operating scenarios in sanitation sorting stations, demolition sites, and waste recycling yards. During the no-load phase, technicians conducted a thorough inspection of the tracked walking mechanism, hydraulic drive system, and PLC intelligent control cabinet. The MSTD320, equipped with a heavy-duty steel tracked chassis, boasts strong climbing and obstacle-crossing capabilities. It can turn on the spot in confined spaces and autonomously adjust its working position without the need for a trailer. For locations without electricity in the field, a diesel power module can be used; simply connect the fuel line to begin production, completely eliminating the need for foundation pouring, disassembly, and transportation of fixed equipment, truly achieving "crushing wherever the waste is."

In the first trial phase, typical bulky urban waste was processed in batches, including discarded spring mattresses, fabric sofas, solid wood wardrobes, large plastic bathroom fixtures, and discarded appliance casings—materials that are difficult to process. Bulky waste is generally large in size and contains a mixture of spring metals and sponge fabrics, making it highly susceptible to entanglement and blockage of the cutter roller. The MSTD320 Tracked Mobile Shredder employs a low-speed, high-torque dual-axis shearing structure, with high-chromium alloy forged blades on the cutter roller and an interlaced tooth design for sufficient tearing force. During the feeding process, materials are smoothly fed into the crushing chamber without entanglement or jamming. The crushed material has a uniform and controllable particle size, with large pieces of waste reduced in volume by over 70%, significantly reducing subsequent transportation and storage pressure. With a matching discharge conveyor, the crushed material is automatically collected, and a single person can complete the entire operation while operating the grabber, significantly reducing labor costs.

The second phase involved high-strength wear-resistance testing of waste metals. The test materials included a mixture of soft and hard metal waste such as thin sheet metal, aluminum profiles, scrap iron drums, bicycle frames, rebar ends, and radiator metal components. The high hardness and strong impact of these metal materials placed a significant strain on the shredder's blade box and transmission system. During two hours of continuous full-load operation, the equipment maintained stable torque output, and the thickened steel plate welded frame exhibited minimal vibration and no deformation or abnormal noise. The mobile shredder equipment features a built-in intelligent overload reversal system. If the feed of hard metal is overloaded, the system quickly reverses and retracts within 0.5 seconds, automatically protecting the reducer and cutter rollers from damage, reducing the frequency of replacement of vulnerable parts and extending the overall machine's service life. The shredded metal fragments are uniform in size, with no long, continuous pieces, facilitating magnetic separation and steel mill recycling, thus increasing the added value of scrap metal sales.
